Awsome, unpretentious Beer garden venue in which you can sit inside, or outside, in the sun, or shade. Serving some of the best and fairly priced Bugers and Quesadilla and other comfort food in town, Their burgers are far superior to, Hopdoddy, Burger Joint, Pop Top Burrgers, Stomps, Burger Nation served in a customer friendly Ice House environment, including a large Patio. Customer Service oriented staff that have a great attitude.... Years ago I used to get my hair cuts from Carlos himself when his barbershop was in the now gone Holiday Inn during Apollo and Skylab Days

Great atmosphere, terrific patrons, regulars, friendly bartenders, and good food are a few things you can find here. I think it's worth trying if you're just trying to have a chill night out. I don't live too far from here, and I came across this place one evening. You can grab a beer, sit anywhere (even outside), check out the food menu, watch a game, and just simply chill and make new friends at this icehouse like place. They have all the beers from Bud Light to Corona, and a few premiums as well. I tried the patty melt sandwich. The sourdough bread was very tasty, and I think it's a great snack to have if you're not trying to have too big of a dinner. They also have other sandwiches and burgers as well, nothing too fancy. So come on in, bring a neighbor, enjoy yourself, and check this place out. There's also seating outside, and plenty of parking out front.

A landmark in the NASA area where "everybody know your name". Hamburgers and snacks are delicious; and during crawfish season you better get there early.

Great food reasonably priced. Waitress was attractive and all of the staff were working in a ice house hot environment. This beer garden is iconic. I cannot wait for October Festivities

Great cheese burger and boudin served by beautiful friendly hard working waitress's. The beer is cold and the iced tea is plentiful. Carlos Beer garden is located across the street from a police station. What better atmosphere could be asked for. Pool tales are available and fans are going full speed. Summer breeze is a necessary addition in the hot summer weather. This is a friendly place to stay for a break

Been going for years. Great place to hang out we love it. Had my husband's 60th birthday party there and it was too much fun, made lots of memories!

Stumbled across this hidden gem while in Houston for my sister's wedding. Was greeted by some really cool, down to earth people. It was hot as hell in there so definitely was feeling for the workers in their but their attitude never wavered. They were still happy to provide excellent service. Now to the food. The waitress recommended the fish tacos. Which sounded good to me and didn't expect much quality being close to midnight on a Friday. I was completely surprised. The fish tacos were some of the best tacos I've tasted. Flavorful and with only two of them, I got full off the portions. When I return back to Houston this will be a place I will definitely return to.
